Get to Know Stephanie

Stephanie Ratliff, PhD, MSW, CSW, is a faculty member at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work where she serves as Director of Social Work Practicum Education. Her research interests include practicum education, and the intersections of intimate partner violence (IPV) and substance use, and the implementation of IPV survivor-informed practices. Her teaching interests include practicum education, social work practice, and child welfare. She has over 19 years of practice experience serving individuals and families who have experienced poverty, sexual assault, mental illness, and substance use. She has extensive experience in administrative management, program development, and program evaluation. She is passionate about supporting and mentoring future social workers, as well as advocating for access to services for marginalized populations.
