Christina Vincent serves as a KY-KINS Family Peer Support Specialist with the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, supporting the Kentucky Kinship Resource Center (KKRC). In this role, she works directly with kinship caregivers, providing consistent and compassionate support as they navigate complex caregiving situations and access available resources.
Christina brings over 20 years of experience in public health and is a licensed registered nurse with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Her background in healthcare provides a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and supporting individuals and families in high-stress situations. She brings these skills into her current role, offering a thoughtful and practical approach to supporting kinship caregivers.
In her work, Christina supports caregivers as they navigate systems and access resources while working through challenges and strengthening communication within their families. She collaborates with community partners to promote connection to services and ensure caregivers feel supported and equipped. She is committed to helping kinship families build confidence, stability, and long-term success.
