Alma Mater

I am a Family Mentor with the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, where I support families involved in the child welfare system. Drawing from my own lived experience, I bring both professional knowledge and personal insight to the work I do. I have been in long-term recovery for five years and have spent the past four years helping parents navigate sobriety while working to maintain and strengthen their relationships with their children. Having personally experienced the child welfare system prior to my recovery journey, I understand the challenges families face and strive to offer guidance, encouragement, and practical support. My work is rooted in empathy, accountability, and hope. I am passionate about helping families build stable, healthy lives and empowering parents to succeed in their recovery while staying connected to their children.
