Christy Harris

Christina Harris serves as a KY-KINS Family Peer Support Specialist with the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, supporting the Kentucky Kinship Resource Center (KKRC). In this role, she provides support to kinship families across Kentucky, helping caregivers identify needs, access resources, and navigate the complexities of kinship care.

Christina is passionate about working closely with families, using her unique perspective and skills to foster connection-based relationships and provide meaningful, practical support. She draws on lived experience to build trust and create a supportive environment where caregivers feel understood and encouraged.
