Get to Know Haley
I am a dedicated Family Mentor with over six years of experience working directly with individuals and families impacted by substance use and child welfare involvement. In my role with the University of Kentucky, I provide guidance, support, and advocacy to help clients navigate recovery and build stable, healthy lives.
I bring ten years of long-term recovery experience, which allows me to connect authentically with those I serve and offer both professional and personal insight. I am actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, where I continue to strengthen my own recovery while supporting others in theirs.
My lived experience within the child welfare system has shaped my passion for this work and deepened my commitment to helping families overcome challenges and reunify whenever possible. I hold an associate degree in Criminal Justice and am dedicated to using my education and experience to empower others, promote resilience, and support lasting change.
