Marshall Dees serves as an Administrative Services Assistant Senior with the University of Kentucky College of Social Work (CoSW), where he supports statewide training programs and operational initiatives within the Training Resource Center. In this role, he manages administrative and fiscal workflows, including procurement, vendor coordination, and expense reconciliation across multiple funding streams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in program operations.

Marshall earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Professional Writing and a minor in Marketing from Western Kentucky University. His academic background informs his strong communication skills and detail-oriented approach to administrative work, particularly in drafting professional correspondence, reports, and program documentation.

Prior to his current role, Marshall served as an Administrative Support Associate within CoSW, where he provided comprehensive support for training and peer support initiatives, coordinated logistics for virtual and in-person events, and assisted with program evaluation and accreditation processes. He also previously worked with the CoSW Training Resource Center in web content and data entry support, maintaining learning management system content and ensuring accurate training records for statewide programs. Earlier in his career, he contributed as a Citations Proofreader for the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, where he reviewed formal legislative materials for accuracy and consistency.

Marshall is recognized for his reliability, adaptability, and ability to manage complex administrative systems. He is committed to supporting programs that strengthen child welfare services and enhance outcomes for individuals and families across Kentucky.
