Mason Stewart

Mason is a native Kentuckian who has been working in higher education at the University of Kentucky since 2014. During his time as an undergraduate at UK, he was an active member of the acapella group acoUstiKats that performed on Season 5 of the NBC show The SingOff. Upon graduation, he earned his Masters and discovered yoga which has lead to over 500 hours of yoga teacher training. You can find him at Wildfire yoga studio throughout the week in Lexington. Mason is also a Certified KORU Instructor, a mindfulness curriculum designed to specifically target the developmental needs and interests of young adults. Mason believes that the mindful intention we bring to our lives creates the conditions in which we may encounter and nurture ourselves so that we may further be of benefit to all beings. If not attending a karaoke or comedy open mic night, Mason and his golden retriever, Rupp, are hiking and camping.
