Miranda Northman

Miranda has worked in the College of Social Work since 2017, and currently serves as an Executive Assistant. She provides administrative support college-wide, but primarily works with the staff and programs within the Training Resource Center. Miranda was elected to the college’s inaugural Staff Council from 2019 to 2021 and served as Secretary. Miranda earned a BA in English Literature from Eastern Kentucky University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Kentucky. After working alongside child welfare advocates in the TRC, she was motivated to focus her graduate work on children and young adults in marginalized communities.
