Mistie Kincer

Mistie Kincer serves as a Kinship Navigator for Eastern Mountain Service Region at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, Kentucky Kinship Resource Center. Mistie has 34 years of working experience, many of which were with AOC and DCBS. Her work as a Deputy Court Clerk, Social Services Worker and Family Support Worker is helpful in working with the families she currently serves as a Kinship Navigator. Mistie is also a Certified Parent Trainer for the Incredible Years Program.
Mistie is passionate about serving families in Kentucky who are taking children into their care. Eastern Mountain Service Region is the heart of the mountains and it’s communities are rich in heritage such as coal mining. Preserving keeping families together is a priority of the Kinship Navigator Team.
