Get to Know Richard
Dr. Weaver is a veteran of the United States Navy, former emergency medical technician, and law enforcement officer. He also has a history in community programs, policy, and research. His research areas span from sport social work to community violence. Research experience cross both qualitative and quantitative approaches involving areas of lived female athlete experiences, substance use in college athletes, community violence reduction programs, and substance use reduction, among other areas of interest.
