Sheila Rentfrow serves as the Program Manager for the Kentucky Kinship Resource Center, where she provides leadership for programs supporting kinship families in the Commonwealth. In this role, she oversees programmatic goals, service delivery, and strategic initiatives, ensuring the KKRC remains impactful and responsive to the evolving needs of caregivers and children. After earning her Master’s degree, she worked with many community agencies in Illinois—including law enforcement, hospitals, schools, and child welfare professionals—to support families in crisis and provide stabilization services for children in both kinship and foster care settings. She later served in a community mental health agency, conducting crisis stabilization assessments and services.
