Sydney Jones

Sydney Jones is a licensed clinical social worker and founder of ACTION, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, dedicated to supporting children, families, and caregivers through mental health services, mentorship, and community-based programming. She holds a Master of Social Work and provides outpatient therapy to children and adolescents, specializing in emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, and strengthening family relationships. She spent several years working directly in foster care, later becoming a foster parent herself, and has since adopted three children, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience into her work. Sydney has been providing clinical mental health services to children since 2016, building a strong foundation in supporting youth with diverse needs. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a STEPS Permanency Navigator, assisting families formed through adoption by providing ongoing support, connection to services, and guidance to promote long-term stability.
