Get to Know Amanda
Amanda Dailey-Weaver is the program coordinator for the International Institute for Sport and Behavioral Health at the University of Kentucky. In this role she works extensively for ASWIS, the Sports Social Work Journal, and the Sports Social Work Research Lab at UK. She is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Alliance and provides administrative and strategic support to the Executive Board. In the Sport Social Work Research Lab at UK she provides general support and project coordination. She also handles copyediting and behind the scenes administrative tasks for the Sport Social Work Journal. Dailey-Weaver comes to this role with 20 years of experience working in collegiate athletics, most recently in the role of Director of Athletics at Indiana University Southeast. She holds a B.A. of Journalism from IU Southeast and a M.A. of English from the University of Louisville. Her strong administrative background and leadership skills help to support the ongoing mission of the International Institute of Sport and Behavioral Health.
