Breanna Williams

Bree Williams serves as Communications Manager at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, where she leads the College’s marketing and communications strategy. In this role, she oversees public relations, content development, and project management, working closely with faculty, staff and external partners to elevate the College’s brand and highlight its impact across Kentucky and beyond.

Williams brings a background in strategic communications across higher education and Division I athletics. Prior to joining the College, she held communications roles at Virginia Tech, Appalachian State University and Butler University, where she led media relations and social media strategy for nationally-ranked athletic programs.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University. Williams is passionate about using storytelling to connect audiences to the people, research and programs driving meaningful change.
