Kayla graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a degree in Arts Administration and Psychology. In 2019, Kayla earned a Masters of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. Kayla is currently completing a Masters of Education in Counseling through Lindsey Wilson University.
Get to Know Kayla
Kayla Spears serves as an Admissions Officer in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. In this role, Kayla is the lead evaluator of MSW applications and disperses MSW and DSW applications to College of Social Work faculty members. Kayla has worked in higher education since 2017, where she began in Admissions at BCTC. She moved to UK in 2021 and has worked in the College of Education as well as the Office of the University Registrar. Kayla transitioned to the College of Social Work in May of 2025.
