Lesley Hensley

Lesley Hensley is currently a family mentor with the Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Teams (START) at the University of Kentucky. In her role she works in a dyad with a social worker from DCBS to help assist families who are struggling with substance use disorder and has a child age five or under. Ms. Hensley is a person in long-term recovery who is deeply passionate about supporting families affected by substance use disorders. She is committed to helping families remain together by guiding them toward stability, healing, and sustained recovery, while empowering them to build healthier, stronger futures.
Ms. Hensley hold an Associate Degree in Science and Arts and is currently continuing her education at Morehead State University, where she is a junior in the Social Work program.
