Leslie Vass

Leslie Vass serves as a Kinship Navigator at the University of Kentucky under the Kentucky Kinship Resource Center for the Lakes Region. As a Kinship Navigator she helps ensure kinship families have the support necessary to safeguard the well- being and future of the children in their care.
Leslie brings a wealth of knowledge and prior experience in caring for children and helping families. She has worked as a public preschool teacher, First Steps Child Evaluation Specialist, HANDS, and for the Kentucky Foster & Adoptive Parent Training Support Network. Leslie and her family have also been Foster Parents since 2018. They have cared for 17 children and supported their birth families.
She earned a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from Murray State University in 2009.
