Before the START team and University of Kentucky MS Blevins worked at Transitions Recovery Treatment Center. MS Blevins worked on the frontline with clients sharing her experience, strength, and hope with them. MS Blevins has been certified in Peer Support. MS Blevins spent 12 years of her life in addiction and will celebrate 16 years of sobriety this year. Before working in Recovery MS Blevins worked 30 plus years in the restaurant industry.

Pamela Blevins currently is a Family Mentor with Kentucky Sobriety Treatment and Recovery team (START) at the University of Kentucky. In MS Blevins role as a Family Mentor, she works side by side with parents who have substance use disorders. As a Family Mentor she helps to ensure model fidelity, teaching life skills, and ongoing support to START clients.
