Rene Leaver’s career has been rooted in technology and communication, with a focus on using systems to build meaningful connections. She serves as the Principal Salesforce Administrator for the College of Social Work, designing solutions that support life-changing programs and positively impact children and families across Kentucky.
Prior to her work in higher education CRM, Rene spent nearly six years managing philanthropy operations and communications at Holy Spirit Parish/UK Newman Center. During that time, she streamlined data hygiene processes while overseeing gift processing and event registrations. Her efforts improved operational efficiency, strengthened donor relationships, and contributed to the success of a $9 million capital campaign.
Rene began her career in secondary marketing of mortgage-backed securities before transitioning into sales analytics at MillerCoors. She later developed a CRM tailored for Thoroughbred consignors and stallion farms, which became widely adopted as an industry standard among leading consignors. Across each role, she has built expertise in relationship management, strategic communication, and leveraging technology to solve complex challenges.
Her work is centered on creating systems that strengthen connections and drive meaningful outcomes. She welcomes opportunities to collaborate on CRM strategy and data quality improvement.
