Summer Bryant

Summer Copley-Bryant serves as the College’s Alumni Engagement Manager. With an impressive career spanning 17 years, Summer has dedicated herself to empowering Appalachian students through educational outreach, always approaching her work through a social work lens. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Morehead State University. Before joining UK’s College of Social Work, Summer was the Director of two federal TRIO grants at Morehead State University. In this capacity, she passionately supported students and alumni, crafting programs that aimed to enhance educational opportunities and bridge the gap between current students and the wider alumni community.
In her role as Alumni Engagement Manager, Summer Copley-Bryant strengthens the bond between the College and its alumni through innovative programs, events, and networking opportunities. She aims to create a global alumni network that supports one another, ensuring every alumnus feels valued and connected.
