Xana Plum

Xana is the Executive Assistant to the Dean at the UK College of Social Work. In this role, she manages a complex and ever-changing calendar, coordinates meetings, and ensures seamless daily operations within the Dean’s office. Acting as a key liaison, she collaborates closely with campus-wide administrators, faculty, and staff to foster strong relationships and maintain alignment across departments. Prior to her work in academia, she gained valuable experience with a government transit authority, where she developed expertise in public service operations and stakeholder coordination. Earlier in her career, she worked for a private international corporation building a strong foundation in corporate administration and global business practices. In 2025, Xana received the College of Social Work Culture of Wellbeing Award.
